The Good: so my friend  and I decided to try out this new hot restaurant for breakfast. We invited a few other friends to join us and off we went.

My mother and I drove together and when we arrived, I absolutely loved outside of this place! Looks like a big beautiful house and we asked if it was at one point and they said it was not. It was built for the excavation company that’s on the same property.

We went in but I just have to say the outside is so beautiful with a beautiful long porch and tables so you can dine al fresco.

My dear arrive shortly after we did and our two other friends joined us as well.

And what brought me to this place was a post about bread pudding muffins and I heard that he had some that would baked that morning. Cranberry bread pudding muffins!!! Bring it on, please!!!

I opted for the breakfast burrito. Words cannot describe how big this thing was and how tasty it was! I will just let the pictures tell the story. It was covered in a delectable cheese sauce that was perfectly seasoned. It was filled with eggs, bacon and home fries. I took half home.

My mom got the eggs Benedict special of the day which was shrimp croquette. She graciously allows me to sample one bite of whatever she is eating and I tried it and it was wonderful! OK, I lied… I had probably three bites LOL this had a lemon sauce over it which my mom did not care for but she did like the rest of her breakfast.

MB got the “Something Hearty” breakfast which consisted of 2 eggs, choice of meat, 2 silver dollar pancakes and toast. She got marble rye.

My friend, Cathy got the “Something Simple” breakfast which is the same as the something hearty breakfast minus the pancakes.

I got a small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. Juice, water and ice coffees are all served in Mason jars which I love!

It should be noted that when we walked up the stairs, we sat down outside waiting for our other friends, the owner, Nick, came out and greeted us. He was extremely friendly and welcoming! While we were there, he was running around serving everybody in the place.

He checked on us a few times to make sure we had what we needed. The silverware is in a cute container in the middle of the table along with napkins and salt and pepper. They also have homemade jelly or jam upon request. Marybeth got a side of what they had to offer today which was peach jam. She said it was wonderful.

I can tell you that the place was filled to capacity with people sitting outside while we were there. We got there at 9 AM. This place is small and cozy.

I observe something while I was sitting there. There was probably about 20 people in the place and not one was on their cell phone! Everybody was just so comfortable, it was almost like being in your own kitchen. Everybody Just seemed to be enjoying each other’s company.

The Bad: there is no bad here. Everything is fresh, it seemed like it was farm to table and the only thing I would change is the size of the place. I think he is going to do fantastic here and he’s going to have a wait, especially on the weekends.

The Ugly: There is no ugly.

I would suggest everybody try this place out. Great food, good service, great atmosphere!
