As you may have heard Doyle’s Pub has moved! Tommy Doyle’s Pub & Grill location at the former Bickford’s at 37 Oak St Extension just around the corner from its original location of 27 years on North Pearl Street. This place is so beautiful inside
Our server, Erin, came right over and took our drink order. She also brought a freshly popped bowl of popcorn which my friend and I devoured LOL and then she refilled it
She then asked if we would like appetizers to start and I got was giant stuffed tater tots! It was like heaven on a plate!
I ordered the fried scallops with Mashed potatoes and it came with coleslaw. Can I just say that the scallops were so juicy and tender and delicious? They were cooked perfectly!
My friend got the Haddock special with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables . My mom got the shrimp scampi appetizer. All of our food was served quickly and it was all delicious!
I was in cahoots with the waitress about paying the entire bill so I handed her my credit card when I walked in, and also wanted to surprise my friend with a slice of chocolate cake!!! All of the waitresses came over and started singing as well as the rest of the restaurant and the bar! I felt like I was on an episode of Cheers!!!!!
The bad: there really is no bad here obviously but I was not happy with the fact that they’re not serving the flat bread pizza (you would have to try this in order to know why I say this!) but apparently they want to distinguish themselves from the other locations.
The ugly: Again, no ugly here, other than the fact that I don’t have 9 stomachs to eat at this place LOL

The chicken kabob was excellent. Cooked perfect. Greek salad was just as good . Even had a bunch of kalmata olives . Most restaurants only give you 2 olives. Creamy Greek dressing is yummy . Usually comes with rice but I knew it would be too much food for me so I asked for my meal without it . I sat at the bar and the lovely bartender made a wonderful expression martini !
We had several meals and all were fantastic!!! Especially the steak tip dinner, medium rare, pepper, mushrooms and onions with mixed veggies. Awesome. Don’t forget free popcorn and great bartender!!!
This is a local secret that has some of the Best Seafoods.. I cannot say enough about the staff, Patrons and cooks.. Family Friendly. Safe and secure parking. Camper friendly. From the time you enter one knows this is a special place. Huge selection of Main courses from steak seafood and many other selections that are all fresh. Nice bar area as well as indoor and outdoor area’s for dining. Fair prices and daily specialties. Highly Recommend.
the waiters and bartenders are always super friendly. Can’t miss with the lobster roll. It’s a hefty portion and it is delicious. Steamers are clean as well.
