Sharing is caring!

The Blue-Eyed Crab opened in 2007 and is located along the waterfront  in Plymouth. Chef Casey’s inventive menu of fresh seafood paired with creative cocktails straight from the Caribbean makes this a local favorite. The fun and casual atmosphere is perfect for a quick lunch, after work cocktail, or a night out with friends and family. Choose from the festive dining room or the outside patio to enjoy our excellent food and great service.Where to Dine on the Plymouth WaterFront The Blued-Eyed Crab Grill & Rum Bar

I tried The Blue-Eyed Crab in Plymouth last night for the 1st time…it was so good I had to go back for lunch today! Love the atmosphere, bright fun colors and reggae music playing, you feel like you’re in the Caribbean as soon as you walk in. Waitstaff is outstanding. Just a side note that it is a little loud and small (which doesn’t bother me at all) and dinner items aka large plates are only served after 5pm. Ordered a Polynesian Surf for a drink which was phenomenal…I love me some fruity rum drinks! We ordered chowder, coconut scallops, jerk chicken buns, fish and chips and a lobster roll which was ordered by my 6 year old lol. I so badly wanted the key lime pie and rum cake for dessert but I had no room left. I might go back tomorrow for that!

My wife and I had lunch at The Blue Eyed Crab in Plymouth. Delicious! We both had the Specials. She had the Salmon and i had the Fish and Chips. We took a picture of the menu, the inside of the restaurant and our dishes. The service was excellent. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable

Dinner at the Blue Eyed Crab on the Waterfront in Plymouth. Calamari appetizer was delicious- unique flavor and peppers. In my top 5 all time. I had the Crab Bisque, Crab Cakes, and a bloody mary. YUM. My husband had fish tacos and enjoyed them. My 12 year old and 5 year old had fish and chips and shrimp cocktail. Both cleaned their plates. The little guy had a plate of mashed potatoes with no complaints. Promptly seated, courteous staff, and outdoor seating was nice. Be advised they add an 18% tip for 5 or more people already (although we left more of course). Would definitely return!

Sat on the front patio this evening visit  in Plymouth.  Service was good. Rasta Pasta, Lobster Crab Creole and Honey Corn Bread were great.

The food far and beyond fantastic ~ suggest getting the banana garlic wings, the steak Burger and the Rotisserie Chicken Jerk (which is half a chicken , coconut rice, mango salsa and crème and broccoli ~ more than enough food for 2 meals) ~ but really everything here is unique and Very tasty. The restaurant is filled with Reggae Music and fun crew. I would suggest if coming with a larger group to call ahead of time for reservations ~ since the restaurant is on the smaller size.

My wife and I had a great lunch! My only complaint was that the fish sandwich (cod) I had was too big. It kept falling apart. Kidding aside it was a great sandwich. My wife had a rice bowl and loved it. You have to try the warm peanuts off the appetizer menu they were great. Hats off to our server. We know times are crazy with the lack of help, she was outstanding, and for much of the time to only  one in front of the bar. But you would never have known it. We cannot wait to go back.

Nice laid back ambiance. We had the crab cakes, steamed coconut time mussel, flavorful and amazing! Our server was great, friendly and helpful. The drinks were pretty and potent – we recommend the hummingbird cocktail. We went for the Jibarito Plaintain sandwich recommended by Guy Fieri- the inside of the sandwich was great- jerk chicken yummy, the plantains on the outside were plain. Save room for the rum cake for dessert – or take it to go – it is delightful!!

So happy to see the crab open with outside seating. It was nice to have a real drink with some good food. The lobster donuts are a must! The jerk chicken melts in your mouth and I love the Cuban!

I went to the Blue-Eyed Crab on a cold blustery day, making Plymouth  harbor not the friendliest place. But welcome to the Blue Eyed Crab! Joyful music, vibrant colors & tropical food transport you to a warmer more friendly place: the Caribbean. There is a very wide variety of menu choices – makes it hard to choose one delightful dish. Many of the dishes are spicy, but can be toned down on request.
Food is all delicious, service is accommodating & friendly. There is a Raw bar & lots of Caribbean beverages if you want.
