Outside temperature was 40 but inside the igloo was probably 55-60. Seating was comfortable and there was no extra charge for the igloo. The service was great… the hostess and our server were so friendly! My wife got the New England Cod with mashed potatoes and asparagus. All were excellent. I went for a tomato and chicken sandwich which came with seasoned fries. The chicken was a little drier than I prefer but the flavor was great. An aioli sauce gave it a bit of a kick. The serving was much bigger than I could eat but I tried my best.
For beverages we tried the brown ale from Canned Heat brewery, which is now owned by Tipsy Toboggan, so they’ll be having this line on tap going forward. The beer was quite tasty, albiet a little pricey. Overall a good experience; definitely would go back if we’re in the area. —

We were seated promptly by our server Cyndi who is not just great at her job, but funny and personable and really coordinated!! She unzipped our igloo with a full tray of drinks and didn’t spill a drop!
We have decided this needs to be a regular event, as we were in our own little bubble free to laugh as loud as we wanted to without bothering other diners. We fogged the igloo! Taunton folks added to the fun with a few fireworks. (They got their checks – wink) I guess being cooped up and finally seeing friends has made us silly. Cyndi added to the fun, and her support team made it a smooth service experience.
GO to the Riverhouse. Experience inside, then do the Igloo.
