RooBar Plymouth Restaurant Closing
Sad news from RooBar in Plymouth closing they announced it on their facebook pageÂ
We are writing to you today with sad news. We have decided that today. Saturday October 1, 2016, will be RooBar’s last day of business. This was a decision that was among one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make.
For almost 5 years, we have had the privilege of getting to serve and know many of you. It is because of you that we were able to go as far as we did, and we cannot express how much we love and appreciate your support. We would like to thank so many people, including the management at Cordage Park for being nothing but supportive in this decision, our family and friends for their never ending support, and of course, our patrons, for allowing us to continue for as long as we have. We will miss each and everyone of you.
We will be open at Cafe Roo in the Pinehills everyday and hope to see you there. There will be no change in anything to do with Cafe Roo and it will be business as usual.
We are sure there will be many questions and we will do our best to answer them in time. Right now, we need this time for our family as we transition from RooBar.
We hope you all can come in tonight and see us before we close.
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the last 5 years
If you have a gift card, they will honor it at the  Cafe Roo.

Dinner at RooBar. First let me say that the waitress, Karen, was wonderful. Nice atmosphere. Tasty food. But we do need to talk about the prices. Both the wife and I had Scallop Saltimboca. Big mound of mashed potatoes (nothing special), a few sliced veggies and 5, count them, 5 scallops. They were not the big ones. Check the picture and find them. Each meal was $25. Luckily we had a groupon for 1/2 off. At $12.50 per plate they were fairly priced. Our daughter had a chicken pot pie. Again, tasty but nothing special. Somewhere in the $20 range. Yeah, I know it’s in Cordage Park in Plymouth but to my mind they were overpriced.
I would advise to go on Wednesday for 1/2 price pizza, during happy hour for bar apps or get a groupon.
Otherwise, one and done.Had lunch/dinner at the Roo Bar in Plymouth. Overall an ok experience. Chicken marsala and a Roo Burger were had,all were good. They do pour a good glass of wine.
ey We went there once and were told we would have to leave our table by a certain time ( I forget the time) it was about an hour and a half after we were seated, because they needed our table for reservations. Needless to say we ate, got out of there and never went back!
We wish them the best of success at Cafe Roo
