Here is update from the Boston Globe

A Patriot Place spokesman said that management and the Toby Keith’s restaurant “have mutually agreed to terminate the tenant’s lease.”

However, a representative for the restaurant described the closing in far less rosy terms.

“We tried our best to work out a deal with the landlords but they were very difficult to work with,” Debbie Corvo wrote in an e-mailed response to the Globe, claiming that Patriot Place “disregarded the 100 employees who are now jobless because of their greediness.”

The restaurant reportedly posted signs outside the building on Wednesday informing patrons that the bar would remain closed.

Corvo said that it was her intention to continue operating, “but we were effectively kicked out.”

“We were being gouged [by] unreasonable rents,” she wrote.

She also said that the restaurant’s contents and equipment “will be turned over to greedy Patriot Place as of tomorrow much to our dismay.”

Patriot Place officials took on a more measured tone on the closing in an e-mail to the Globe.

“We would like to thank CRGE Foxborough, LLC for the service and hospitality they provided to our guests over the years,” the Patriot Place spokesman wrote. “We greatly appreciate Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill’s many contributions to the success and popularity of Patriot Place and wish them well in their future endeavors.”

There was no mention of what would happen to the space housing the restaurant going forward.
