Had a fabulous day at Battleship Cove and , after a recommendation from here, drove 20 min away to the Rose Alley Pub in New Bedford. We hadnt eaten all day and were def hungry. Place easy to find and luckily found on-street parking nearby. Upon walking in we were a wee bit nervous bc atmosphere was def a bar with a few hi top tables and a few tables outside, fairly busy tho and no other kids. Bartender said to sit anywhere but we had to put our own two tables together bc most only accommodated 3. Waitress (never said name) came and took drink order. My Wachusett Bluberry was good but the blueberries had seen better days. Then we seperated appetizer plates and 2 were dirty. Now we were getting very skeptical BUT then the apps arrived ..mozzarella sticks and Fried buffalo wontons and they were so delish. After a bit waitress was about to give us check and we said we would also be ordering dinner (she never asked). Kid’s had grill cheese and said yummy, just the right amt of butter. Hubby had Cowboy burger and said very good. I had the Steak and Cheese wrap minus mushrooms that was phenomenal. Fries were also nice and crunchy. Another waitresss came on shift at 5p and service improved (fillled sodas w o asking, taking away used plates etc) and was very bubbly, attentive. Owner stopped by twice to check on us which was very nice.

We ate at the Rose Alley Ale House in New Bedford yesterday afternoon. Service was great, it was clean and food was yummy! Nice beer selection too!
