IS THERE ADMISSION?

Admissions Fee: We charge a nominal fee of $10 per attendee to the event. Children under 12 are FREE.  This includes access to vendors, lounge areas, children’s zone, live music and more. Collecting admission fees allows us to keep costs low for our small business vendors, and the money raised supports local businesses and community projects.  Ticket information will be available August 1st.

BOAT RAMP ACCESS

Per Massachusetts law, Green Harbor boat ramp will remain open through the entire duration of the event. The permit we received from the state ensures this.

LOCAL LOBSTER

All food vendors are required to sell at least one lobster dish. Lobster Tacos, Lobster Raviolis, Grilled Lobster tails, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Lobster Mac and Cheese!

While we have no control over where our food vendors purchase their lobster from, we encourage all of our event participants to purchase from local distributors.

COMMUNITY INCLUSION

Lobsterfest celebrates the entire South Shore community, with a specific focus on educating attendees about all the things that make Marshfield an amazing place to live, work, shop and play. Artisans from across the coastal region participate in this amazing event.  All participating vendors are REQUIRED to showcase coastal community pride to enhance the experience of attendees.

OUTDOOR EVENT ISSUES

Lobsterfest is an outdoor event. Things such as insects, temperature and inclement weather are out of our control. Areas with shaded seating will be available. And a rain date of Sunday, September 15th is set in the event of bad weather on September 14th. While Marshfield LobsterFest is a dog friendly event, PLEASE be prepared to clean up after your furry friends. Dogs are NOT allowed on the shuttle. (service dogs are an exception)
