Houghs Neck ChowdaFest 2019 in Quincy MA
The 15th Houghs Neck annual Chowdafest will be held on Saturday September 14th from 2-6pm. at the Hough Neck Maritme Center. The great festival features chowder from 20+ local restaurants and a dozen individual contestants. Â Admission is $5.00 per person

Admission $5.00 Per Person
Each $5.00 admission is entitled to sample each chowda and cast one vote per category for their favorite Chowda.
The winning restaurant will be presented with our perpetual trophy to be displayed at their establishment for one year and a complimentary ad in the… October Bulletin.
The Individual winner will receive a plaque and a cash prize.
The Houghs Neck Congregational Church will host the bake sale at the ChowdaFest with the money raised going to McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Program visit

Located along the Quincy waterfront with great views of the Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park, free boat rides are provided by the the Quincy Police Marine Unit. Live music by the The Danny Gallagher Band, a cash bar featuring products from Burke Distributors, and local non-profit organizations selling alternative food and beverages, this event is fun for the whole family. Proceeds benefit the Houghs Neck Community Council; an all volunteer, nonprofit organization that has, for fifty-four years offered programs and events to Houghs Neck residents.
