Houghs Neck ChowdaFest 2017 in Quincy MA

The 12th Houghs Neck annual Chowdafest will be held on Saturday September 9th from 2-6pm. at the Hough Neck Maritme Center. The great festival features chowder from 20+ local restaurants and a dozen individual contestants.  Admission is $5.00 per person

There will  Live entertainment by SuperFly  , a cash bar featuring products from Burke Distributors, and local non-profit organizations selling alternative food and beverages, this event is fun for the whole family

The Houghs Neck Community Council is a 501 (c) 3 organization uses this event to raise fund for community programs. This event allows the children and family
programs of the Community Council to be free. Programs include Easter Bunny Fun Day, 3rd of July Family Fun Day, Harvest Fest and the Children’s Christmas Party.

A portion of the proceeds also help the Council fund its publication “The Bulletin”. Which is a monthly newspaper distributed to every household in Houghs Neck.
