Alma Nove Italian Restaurant 10 year anniversary

Sharing is caring!

Congratulations to Alma Nove  for celebrating 10  years in business! With restaurant closing so often it is nice to see one that is lasting as long as this one.

They shared on their facebook about their 10 year anniversary

Ten years ago today we began this amazing journey! Many of our first customers who walked through our doors that night have become part of our family. Many staff members who started that first night are still the faces you see when you come visit us. We have watched them grow and succeed in both their personal and professional lives. We’ve said goodbye to some whom have moved onto other careers, as well as welcomed some new faces along the way. We’ve seen team members graduate high school and college, get married and start their families. We’re proud of every single one of them for how much they have accomplished and how much they have helped us grow over the years. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for always being there.

To our customers, our community and our partners, thank you for your continuous support over the years. Thank you for letting us be a part of your family’s birthdays, anniversaries and special celebrations. Thank you for continuing to dine with us to enjoy your favorite dish and visit with our servers and bartenders who you now call friends. We’re extremely grateful to have such a supportive community. Thank you to all who have gone above and beyond to support us and our frontline workers during the past 10 weeks. You mean the world to us!

Tonight, our restaurant would have been filled with family and friends celebrating the past 10 years and raising a glass to the next 10 years. Although this celebration is much different than planned, we can still celebrate from a distance. So here’s a toast to you; our staff, our former staff, our families who supported us, our customers and our partners. Cheers to you, our Alma Nove family!

Founded by Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg, along with co-owners, celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, Alma Nove is Hingham’s premier waterfront restaurant inspired by a blend of flavors from Italy and the surrounding Mediterranean. Named after the Wahlberg family matriarch, Alma, and her nine (nove) children, the restaurant features an eclectic menu of antipasti, specialty pastas, fresh off the boat seafood, and chops prepared on a wood-burning grill.

Intimately scaled, the 143-seat restaurant is framed by walls of glass and capped by a rotunda, dramatically lit by hand-blown glass orb lights. The adjacent bar and lounge area is equally impressive, with cozy seating and two 50-inch flat screen TVs making it the perfect place to meet friends or watch your favorite sports team. In season, the outdoor wrap-around patio beckons with the promise of warm sunshine by day, colorful sunsets over the water at dusk, and romantically lit fire pits at night. Drop in for lunch, dinner, cocktails or a light bite, with small plate portions of menu items that encourage sampling and sharing.

Savor the difference at Alma Nove, where the freshest and finest ingredients and wood-burning grill combine to create approachable food, impeccably prepared.

Here is the Swampie Buzz

I have never had a bad meal here. The staff are wonderful, Chef Paul is just the nicest person ever. Highly recommend – any season – any time, you won’t be disappointed .

Went to Alma Nove in The Hingham Shipyard Marinas for the first time the other night. We arrived early and sat at a high top table In the bar. I sat looking at the water and it was beautiful and relaxing. It is a small restaurant with a large bar and high ceilings. The high top chairs were extremely comfortable, which I find is hard to accomplish for most restaurants. We started with the salumi app and it was delicious. A mix of imported cured meats and cheeses with arugula and roasted cherry tomatoes. I had the scallops with risotto and a butter squash purée. My husband had the pork tenderloin with carrots 2 ways. I highly recommend this restaurant. Food was delicious.

Went to Alma Nove last night for the first time. Impeccable service! I was shocked at how little we spent, I honestly expected to spend a lot more so reasonable prices were a bonus! We shared a bottle of pinot noir, it was smooth and delicious. We shared a beet salad, it was amazing and they plated it separately for us without asking. My friend got the duck, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty. I got the sausage pasta dish w/pesto and pine nuts (forgot name of dish) it was amazing!! We were celebrating a birthday and the hostess made note when we came in with a birthday   bag so the waitress automatically brought out a birthday dessert. I thought that was unbelievably thoughtful and amazing on the restaurant’s part to take notice! We did split another dessert which was to die for! I had a cappuccino to end the evening and my friend another glass of wine. Everything right down to the atmosphere was amazing!! Highly recommend, plenty of parking but they also have valet.

I did not get pictures of the main courses as I simply forgot. With all that food our bill only came to $130 then I gave a 30% tip as service like I said was impeccable and by far my favorite part! Our waitress never skipped a beat, filled our wine glasses every time they fell low, never without water and only engaged in conversation when we spoke to her. I love this place and will be back! Kudos on the wine selections and varied prices!!
