Nantasket Soup & ChowderFest 2017 in Hull MA

The 10 th annual Nantasket Chowderfest will be held on Saturday January 28th at 12:30 at the Nantasket Beach Resort in Hull as part of the Drowned Hogs weekend. Enjoy over a dozen soups and chowders with all the proceeds benefiting the Wellspring Food Pantry. This year we hope to have a few surprise guest judges who will award the trophy for ‘Best Soup’ and ‘Best Chowder’ to the most deserving restaurants.

A dozen restaurants will compete for the title of best soup and best chowder. Your $15 ticket lets you sample and re-sample all kinds clam, lobster, and fish chowder and soups that range from Buffalo chicken soup, to spicy black bean soup. All the proceeds benefit the Wellspring Food Pantry.

Smoke, Fire & Pinot Noir Dinner at Bridgeman’s Restaurant in Hull MA

Come join the celebration of Fire, Smoke and Pinot Noir! A special evening with celebrated Master Sommelier Fred Dexheimer and the Chefs of Bridgeman’s on Nantasket as they join forces to create a spectacular dining event. Fred Dexheimer is one of only 210 Master Sommeliers and represented the USA in the Best Sommeliers in the World competition. He has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, People, Bon Appetit, and the Sommelier Journal, and is the US wine ambassador for the country of Chile and Southwest France.

He combines his talents with Bridgeman’s Executive Chef Ken Wisneski (former Sous Chef for Emeril Lagasse at NOLA), Chef Hugo Kaiser (selected for the Holiday Baking Championships in LA), Nestor Ramierez and Owner/Chef Harold Paine as they present a smoldering five course dinner including smoke kissed lobster, wood grilled rabbit mortadella, pinot noir smoked pheasant and boar sausage.
