Hey we are famous!!  The Hockomock Swamp Supper Club facebook group was featured in the Patriot ledger! They came out to Swamp Mob 6  Johnny  Macaroni West Bridgewater Italian Restaurant.

FRIENDLY FEAST – Facebook supper club brings together thousands of local food lovers
Eighty members of a Facebook group called the Hockomock Swamp Supper Club and Dessert Emporium gathered late last month at Johnny Macaroni’s restaurant in Bridgewater for Swamp Mob #6 – a dinner in a restaurant reserved for group members.

“There is nothing I love more than going to restaurants and eating,” said Pessin, who wore a costume to complement the Italian meal and in anticipation of Halloween. “I wanted to share my stories about restaurants and hear other people’s.”
Unlike Yelp and other restaurant-review sites, the Hockomock Swamp Supper Club and Dessert Emporium focuses on restaurants south of Boston, specifically in the Bridgewater area. Its limited geographic area appeals to people who want to get to know restaurants and people in their area.
“I joined to find restaurants I wouldn’t know about and to socialize,” said Dorothea Lyons, 36, who came to the dinner with her husband, Chris. “All of the restaurants we’ve gone to have been for the first time.”
