The Blackthorne Publick House in Easton  announced Saturday on its Facebook page that it would be closing – effective immediately on Saturday April 9th according to the Brockton Enterprise. The  Blachthorne hosted a Swamp mob a year ago and we are sad to see it closing.
The Route 138 pub is the latest of many restaurants in the location to close.
The restaurant was co-owned by business partners Tammie Watson and Joyce Parlapiano.
They opened the restaurant at the beginning of March 2014, after purchasing the building from the owner of Hibernia Pub and Grille, which closed permanently

We had a wonderful night out last night at The Blackthorne in Easton. They have added some choices to the menu including a huge plate of nachos with meat, beans, and the fixins. It was delicious with just the right amount of spicy kick! The music was a phenomenal new band “The Experts” who had us on our feet clapping and asking for more.

There was also some addtional buzz about noise and bathrooms.
