Here are some reviews of their Whitman Location

Authentic Mexican Food, Tacos de Lengua and Tortas is the best in the South Shore, I highly recommend this place if you want to taste the real Mexican flavor, i feel the spirit of Mexico. Thanks Francisco, outstanding food & service.

Love this place. Wish my waistline would allow me to eat here more often than once in awhile. Atmosphere is like sitting in Grandma’s kitchen, watching her cook up a meal.

If you love Mexican food, go here! The large burrito is a meal in a tortilla. Very fresh ingredients. My husband wasn’t sure if he wanted Verde sauce on his  enchiladas, so the owner said try it; if you don’t like it, have something else, no extra charge! Great guy, great customer service.

Love Avocados! Everything is so fresh and good. Great options for vegetarians, you can get anything without the meat.

Quality food. Good Service. Decent prices. Taco salads and burritos are delicious.

Great service, great authentic food. I have not found a place even close to this good and authentic on the south shore. The owner is very nice and helpful when ordering. The burritos are huge and the tacos amazing. Please go and check it out i want this place around for long time! I promise you will be happy you went.

Absolutely fantastic! If you order chicken, a fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast is cooked to order! Everything is fresh and full of flavor. I’m not a fan of cilantro but there are plenty of non-cilantro options including fresh sliced avocado in lieu of guacamole. Thank you!

I’d rate Avocadoes a 10 out of 5 if I could. It’s the best food ever!! We’ve ordered multiple times and its always amazing. One time my order was messed up a little (had something on it I didn’t want) and it was still the best taco salad I’ve ever eaten. If you love Mexican food you need to try this place.

Coal Oven pizza is cooked different than your typical pizza  t that makes it unique. In coal ovens the temperature is uneven, affecting the texture of the pizza and requiring that the pizzas be rotated constantly, he said, explaining that it’s the texture that makes every slice different.

Freda’s, a family owned and operated full service restaurant opened on Thursday, January 22, 1987, in the midst of a major snowstorm.  Opening day was a success despite the raging storm outside, Freda’s out of the way location and the building’s storied past.

Going on 30 years of business, we’ve seen the best of times and the worst of times, and have managed to persevere with the help of our wonderful employees.

Our continued success can also be attributed to our many faithful and loyal customers who consider Freda’s their home away from home.

Set back off the road in a residential neighborhood, Freda’s is the kind of place where you can catch up with old friends and make some new.

The ambience of our restaurant is captured in the essence of its namesake, Freda (Owner Steve Stathis’ mother) known for her outgoing personality and welcoming nature.

Steve’s goal is to offer quality, casual gourmet at affordable prices served by our friendly staff.

Freda’s offers a wide variety of Appetizers, Entrees, Homemade Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Pizzas and Desserts. Join us when celebrating that special occasion with a bottle of wine and one of our creative sauteed specialties, or meet up with friends for drinks and appetizers.

If Dad wants Prime Rib, Mom wants Caesar Salad, and the Kids want Pizza, then head on in to Freda’s!

Freda’s has been a Swampie favorite for many years

Went to a WONDERFUL restaurant last night in West Bridgewater called Freda’s. It was new to me, beautiful inside the waitress was amazing! The deals were great for a Wednesday night! Just thought I’d share this Intel with everyone who is looking to try somewhere new! I will now be a regular at Freda’s it was that perfect!

We are seated promptly and our waitress was right there to take our drink order. Quickly returns, delivers and off she goes.1 sip and somethings wrong. It’s just tonic water & lime, but it ain’t right. We ask our waitress & she assures us it’s is tonic water. We insist it isn’t right & she dutifully goes and checks. She reports the machine is malfunctioning. AND the owner is running out to get some right now to replace your drink. WOW! Steve Stathis, the owner, knows how to take care of his customers.
I ordered the fried chicken breast & the wife ordered chicken marsala.
The fried chicken was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, lightly battered. Moist and tender and the taste is so good. And the sauce they put on it was very good, not relying on salt for flavor.
The chicken Marsala was flavorful & tender. Delicious. The sauce was delightful.
The servings were sufficient to stuff us both & each have take home bags for future eats.
No bad or ugly here.
I have read mixed reviews of Freda’s here. I can say without hesitation this was a very good experience. They have a sign that says something like ‘we don’t serve fast food. We serve good, home cooked foods as fast as we can’. They lived up to it last night!

I told them all about Fredas because of their $10 buck Tuesday deals.
What this consists of is a soup or salad, and a wonderful entree and for $2 dollars more, you can get a scrumptious and decadent dessert!
Our Waitress was Robin who remembered me from my last visit when we were celebrating my parents new purchase of a vehicle. Talk about a memory!
She is friendly, accurate and quick! She cleared away our dirty plates which is a huge plus for me when I dine out. Our drinks were refilled and extra napkins were given without asking and our meals came very quick considering it was busy in there.
Oh yeah and she brought us out some fantastic HOT FRESH FROM THE OVEN ROLLS!
I ordered the chicken and broccoli Aioli over ziti.
My two friends order the identical dishes and that was haddock Nantucket and that was a piece of haddock topped with cheese and then a breadcrumb stuffing on top of that. They both got the same sides which were homemade mashed potatoes and zucchini.
My friends hadn’t been there in a very very long time and as we were eating our salads, one of my friends looked at me and said, “I cannot wait to come back here!!” To which I replied, “you haven’t even got your meal yet! Wait until you try the seafood here!”
The salad dressing is one that I cannot describe because it’s something you have to taste for yourself! So fresh and everything is homemade! The salad is out of this world!
Anyway, we got our meals and my friends absolutely LOVED their food! Everything was hot, fresh and tasty.
We ordered 2 desserts: Oreo mousse cheesecake and a chocolate chip cookie brownie with vanilla ice cream.
The Oreo cheesecake was HEAVEN!!!!!!!! Light, fluffy and delicious!
If you are looking for some down home, real good food that’s completely homemade, head over to Fredas.

My mom remembered that Fredas
has deal called “$10 buck Tuesday”. What this essentially is, are five or six at meals with soup or salad and if you want dessert, it’s an extra $2. again, the desserts are also fixed and not on the regular dessert menu.  I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try something different. They had a dish called chicken pesto with sun-dried tomatoes and cheese tortellini. I am not a fan of pesto at all so I asked the waitress if I could substitute for another sauce. She couldn’t have been more accommodating!! She offered me an alternative of either Alfredo or a red sauce. I opted for the red marinara sauce. I got the salad with the house Italian dressing which is a creamy Italian and is out of this world!  My mom got the dish I believe is called haddock Nantucket but consisted of was a piece of haddock, cheese on top of that and then seafood stuffing on top of that along with a side of carrots and mashed potatoes. She also got a cup of soup with her meal which tonight was, green pepper soup, that she said was incredible and she ate the whole entire cup which she hardly ever does!  My dad loves macaroni and cheese so he decided on that. He also got a tossed salad with thousand island dressing.  By the way, our waitress’ name was Robin. She was PHENOMENAL!!! She was friendly but not overbearing, she was informative but not pushy and she attended to our every need.  Our food was hot, fresh, and a great deal for 12 bucks! Yes, we did get dessert 🙂  I got a chocolate cupcake covered in ganache with a raspberry sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and apparently the chef makes his own whipped topping which was magic to my tastebuds! I’ve never eaten anything like that in my life!   My dad opted for the tapioca putting forth with cream, and my mom got the chocolate mousse at my persuasion.  All desserts were two thumbs up

Spanish-speaking servers deliver simple combinations of protein or veggies, topped with vibrant sauces: carne asada steak dressed in green pepper and guacamole, tender pork loin in tomatillo sauce, chicken in chocolate mole. The chefs’ adherence to tradition doesn’t preclude experimentation. Case in point: the dessert burrito, a lightly fried tortilla wrapped around apple-cinnamon or creamy cheesecake filling.

Pub Grub at Iron Furnace (50% Off).

32 HD TVs, live music events, and hearty pub food fuel the fun, casual environment at Iron Furnace. Patrons can settle into a shiny black booth or grab a seat at the bar to enjoy everything from macaroni and cheese served in a sizzling cast iron skillet to a burger piled high with jalapeño bacon, Red Dragon cheddar, and caramelized onions. Depending on the day, comedy shows, karaoke, or team trivia nights keep guests entertained between bites, but they can always count on catching the big game. Make sure you check out the  Live Chef Table Demo filmed here recently

Cafe Food for Two or More at Quincy Cafe

Quincy Cafe isn’t flashy. On the brick wall behind the counter, just above the coffeemakers, a mural-of-sorts written in chalk reminds visitors of why they’re there: pancakes, tacos, burgers, salads. Outside, simply a few handwritten signs in the window serve as the only clues as to what awaits inside, where diners gather around comforting breakfast and lunch dishes seven days per week. The cafe’s peaceful atmosphere, free of robots screaming, “DEALS, DEALS, DEALS!”, makes it an ideal gathering site for families and friends.

Pub Food for Two or Four or More at Kelly’s Cellar

Kelly’s Cellar, located just steps from the Quincy Center station, provides visitors with a taste of the Irish life. In addition to its 20 TVs, the restaurant entertains imbibers with attractions every night of the week, including trivia and live Irish music.

Weymouth Dining Deals

Clad in a red cap and a white uniform, Siam First’s Chef Derm traces the surface of ginger root, lemongrass, and a chili pepper, expounding upon their health benefits on TV Diner. Ginger root is good for heartburn, and chili pepper helps digestion, he remarks, before showing his Thai twist on a New England favorite—Maine lobster.

Chinese Food at Cathay Center (Up to 38% Off).

There always seems to be something going on at Cathay Center. Some nights, guests are belting out karaoke songs, and other nights, they’re racking up high scores on Wii video games. The main reason people flock to this popular local hangout, though, is the Chinese food. The menu is as long as it is diverse, and it even features an array of lighter options.

Athens Pizza Shop Weymouth

Athens Pizza features great food with a Greek and Mediterranean flair, from specialty pizzas, subs, calzones, burgers, seafood and more. We also have many vegetarian items. Everything is made using the freshest ingredients available. We can also cater your next event either corporate or private. For a delicious meal and a great time, come in soon.

Golden Dragon introduces its guests to no shortage of options. The South Weymouth establishment’s food selection features nearly 20 categories—making the menu read like a who’s who of Chinese cuisine. There’s the health-food section, which boasts a variety of steamed dishes, and the house specials section, which simmers with spicy creations. The house-special Dragon and Phoenix fuses two dishes into one with sizzling chunks of shrimp and chicken. The menu also includes entrees designed to share. The Pu Pu platter, for instance, lets diners sample seven distinct foods before taking leftovers

West Bridgewater

Breakfast Lunch at Good days Restaurant

At Good Days, the gears on a 1950s vending machine turn, sending a Coca-Cola bottle tumbling to the bottom. Smiles festoon vintage photos hanging on walls. Their ice cream window refuses to stay shut, its staffer serving an endless line of customers who await their chance at a locally-made scoop. This is where the nostalgic and the simply hungry go to quell their cravings for American fare and breakfast served all day. In booths and at tables, forks dive into fish and chips, moist turkey roasted in house, and French toast made with dense slices of banana-nut bread. The restaurant is open seven days a week, just enough time to try almost everything on the menu or proclaim a new favorite dish 21 times.
