Local BBQ favorite 2 Jerks in Raynham has gotten some positive press in the Taunton Gazette newspaper plus was featured on the Phantom Gourmet Tv show.  

It’s been four months since 2 Jerks BBQ opened its doors on Route 138. And so far the owners have no regrets.

Chris DePalma, who runs the business with older brother John and third partner Josh DeGust of Marshfield, says word has been circulating that there’s a new and unique eatery in town.

DePalma, 25, says the idea to open an authentic, smoked-meat barbecue restaurant — that also has its share of slightly eccentric appetizers and entrees — was hatched a few years back when he was visiting with John, who had been living in Tennessee.

Went to 2 Jerks BBQ AND The Cake Diner since they are so close to each other and we don’t get to the area often. 2 Jerks was great from our server Melissa to the amazing food to the cleanliness of the restaurant. We got a bunch of stuff to try as well as take home. Everything was delicious esp the cornbread, brisket, pulled pork, potato salad and mac n cheese!

Tonight we went to 2 Jerks BBQ and had a great experience! Our server was attentive and friendly (I’m terrible with names so don’t recall his!). The plates are overflowing and everything is wonderful! Can’t recommend the brussel sprouts OR the roasted broccoli enough…I could make a meal just from them! Steve said the sausage was phenomenal and we both enjoyed the melt-in-your-mouth pulled pork with the sauce our server recommended. The owners’ mom stopped by our table and chatted a few minutes…nice touch, nice lady! Oh, did I mention the fried Oreos with homemade caramel sauce!!! Get ’em—so darn good!! Great place, great people and great food! Can’t wait to go back and try the chicken!
